My Sister's Tutor (Switzerland*Reader) part 7

"Hey, (Name)--. Oh. Woops" Lilli had pranced back in and giggled. Vash and (Name) broke apart and looked at her.
"What, Lilli. (Name)'s sort of preoccupied at the moment." Vash commented cooly. Lilli giggled again.
"I was just wondering. Now (Name)'s your girlfriend, will she still be my tutor?" Vash looked at (Name) and bent to kiss her jaw.
"I don't know. I might steal her away entirely.... but I suppose I can share her with you once in a while." Vash said. (Name) laughed and nudged Vash.
"Yes, Lilli. I'll still be your tutor."
"Now Lilli. Shoo" Vash said before kissing his girlfriend again.

Last day of school~~

"Hey Vash!" (Name) ran up to Vash and flung her arms around his neck. Vash gave one of his rare smiles and hugged her back. "Can you believe it? The school year is OVER!"

"Yes (Name), I can." Vash pressed his lips to her's briefly before setting her down. (Name) put her arm though his and they started walking towards Vash's car. They got in and Vash pulled out of the parking lot. (Name) started ranting about vacation and every other thing that was on her mind at the moment. Vash just listened, letting her voice wash over him. He frowned slightly.

"And then there was this crazy--Vash?" Vash glanced over and saw (Name) looking at him with a worried look on her face.

"What?" Vash asked, his face blank again.

"You were frowning. Is something wrong?"

"No, everything is fine." He replied and looked back at the road. (Name) was silent for a moment.

"You're lying," she said finally. Vash sighed. She was right. He used to be better at hiding his emotions. But now (Name) could always tell how he felt.

"Yes." He replied simply.

"So, what's wrong."

"I'd rather not talk about it. At least for right now." (Name) sighed and let it drop.


~~time skip brought to you by the TARDIS in which you and Vash pick up Lilli and go to Vash's house~~


(Name) kicked her shoes off and flung herself onto Vash's very large and comfortable couch. Lilli flopped on top of her and she squeeled.

"Lilllli!!!! Get off!" (Name) tried to shove her off but Lilli was like a dead opctopus and would not bugde. "Vash!! Help" Vahs came over to the couch and looked at them and smiled.

"Nope."

"Vash!" You sighed exasperatedly. Suddenly and of her own volition, Lilli jumped up and looked at Vash.

"Vash?"

"Yes, Lilli?"

"Have you told her yet?" Lilli asked and Vash's face immediately turned to stone (I imagine Vash's face would make a delightful sculpture). (Name) sat up.

"Tell me what?" Vash sighed and sat down on a chair.

"(Name)..."

"Yes?"

"...We recieved news a couple days ago..." Vash paused and stared at the floor. "We-- Lilli and I have to... we have to move back to Switzerland..." (Name) froze.

"Wait, what?"

"We're leaving, (Name). We have to leave within the month." Vash would still not look and (Name)'s face.

"No, you can't leave."

"(Name)..."

"No, you can't. You can't go. Don't go."

"(Name), it won't be forever. We'll be back, I promise."

"No, you can't. You can't promise. That is what she said, and she never came back." Vash frowned and finally looked and (Name). She looked close to tears. Lilli sat there silently, watching (Name).

"(Name)... who never came back?" Vash's voice was gentle and coaxing but (Name) shook her head. "(Name), tell me." She said something but it sounded like "mumblemumble". "Who?"

"My mother." Vash's frown deepened.

"You said your mother was on a business trip." Vash replied. (Name) shook her head. "Then where is she?"

"I don't know. She left two years ago. She said she would be back within a month. She promised. And she never came back." (Name) wiped her eyes on her sleeve. Vash stood and sat down on the couch next to her. He wrapped his arms around her and she started crying into his shoulder. Lilli stood up quietly and left the room without Vash or (Name) noticing. Vash rubbed small circles on her back.

~~TARDIS time skip involving cryinig~~

Finally, (Name) stopped crying and she sat up. Vash's arms were still wrapped around her.

"(Name)..." Vash started cautiously.

"Hmmm."

"I'm sorry about your mother and if I had the choice, I wouldn't go, but..." (Name) nodded and stood up. Vash looked up into her face and frowned. Her eyes looked blank. Vash stood up and reached towards (Name).

"(Name)."

"I have to go. My father is expecting me." She said and walked towards the door. Vash's fown deepened. Even her voice sounded hollow.

"(Name)." He said more insistently. He followed her to the door and watched as she put on her shoes. When she reached for the door, Vash put a hand on her arm.

"Don't go." His voice sounded almost pleading. (Name) turned to look at him and gave a half smile.

"But that won't work for either of us, Vash. So let's not pretend it does." And she turned and left. Vash stood there, shocked, staring at the closed door. "that won't work for either of us". Vash back up and collapsed on the the stairs. She was right. Unfortunately. They had to go. Pleading wouldn't change that...
