Ludwig*Reader DeadLove FLowers pt 2

BLACK

I look at my wrist and buttoned the cuffs and then straightened my collar. I looked behind me for the coat and saw it hung over the edge of a chair. I walked over to it and picked it up. I shrugged into it and looked in the mirror. I buttoned it up. It looked very plain and black. I saw something in the mirror behind me and turned around. On the table was a vase of flowers. I walked over to the table.

RED

I pulled out a red rose. I twirled it in my fingers for a moment, staring at it. I gripped it to break the stem and something poked my finger. I let go and looked at the stem. A thorn. I looked at my finger and saw a small drop of blood well up on the skin there. I put sown the rose and wiped of the blood. The door opened behind me. I turned slightly to see my father looking in.

"It is almost time Ludwig." He said with a kind smile. I nodded back.

"I'm almost ready." The door closed. I looked back at the flower and broke of the thorn. I picked the rose back up and tucked it back into the lapel of my jacket. I turned back to the mirror one more time. I ran my fingers through my hair and then left the room.

I stood at the front, facing the stain glass windows, waiting. The procession music started. I wanted to turn around to watch but I new I shouldn't. The justice of the peace in front of me smiled, looking at something behind me. I turned to look as well and smiled at what I saw. ______ walked with her father, up the isle between the pews. ______'s dress was a pure white and had gold embroidery the crept over the dress. A thin veil covered her face but I could still see her smile at me.

YELLOW

In her hands, she carried a bouquet. Of daffodils. I turned back to face forward. _______ walked to stand next to me. The justice of the peace the proceedings.

"I do" I said when he paused. I glanced at _____. She looked sideways at me. Something seemed to register in her face and she smirked, trying not to laugh. I raised an eyebrow at her but she shook her head slightly, still smiling.

"I do" She said.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The justice of the peace pronounce. I turned to face _______. I lifted the veil and took ____'s face in my hands. I bent down and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back.

I opened the car door for _____ and she got into the car. I walked around to the other side and got in. I started the car and drove. I looked over at my wife. It seemed strange to think of her that way but it was fitting. She was looking at me with that same expression from earlier.

"Vhat is it?" I asked.

"You're germany." She replied, half laughing. I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh?" She reached over and put and hand on the lapel of my jacket.

"Black." She pointed to the red rose in my lapel.

"Red." She ruffled my hair.

"Yellow. The german flag. See?" I smiled and shook my head, laughing lightly.

"Oh, _______" She laughed as well. "______?"

"Yes?

"Ich liebe dich."

"Ich liebe dich auch"
